This book did go on too long. It was about 2 hours longer than it needed to be. Why she wouldn't tell anyone about her medical condition is concerning and ridiculous. No one with that kind of condition would put everything on the line for sex. Why she didn't explain her relationship with Adam, is childish. She showed that she was trying to make him jealous. Sure it wasn't his business but that is only true until they started a relationship and introduced that to his family. After that, it is not acceptable.
Her dad of course was also part of her abuse. He knew what was happening and didn't protect her. He also didn't discipline his stepdaughter and that shows. Keeping her pregnancy a secret is unforgivable as well.
Again the writer Abbie Zanders does a great job. The narrator is always a winner. I prefer a dual narration but when Aiden Snow is involved I know I am in for a wonderful voice in my ear.
