I waited for this whole book for there to be some kind of conflict between the fmc and mmc. it never happened. I feel like it was in another book but idk what one. By the end if it i was flat bored. I love books with action and suspense and a good alpha male, but this had no character development, nothing for them to overcome, and lacked spark.
