Summary / Synopsis

Fate made us brothers. Loyalty made us family.
My brothers and I don’t share blood, but what binds us is stronger than DNA. Forged through loyalty, violence, and the man who gave us a purpose, our bond runs deeper than the Mississippi itself. As the most sought-after sharpshooters in the country, our future was written—until one woman shattered everything I thought was unbreakable.
Ryanne Lockwood vanished without a trace, but she never left me. Her memory haunted my darkest nights, a ghost I could never outrun. Until fate throws her back into my path, colliding our worlds once more. And this time, I won’t let her disappear again.
Justice Creed was trouble the moment he rolled into town. A dangerous allure wrapped in bad-boy rumors, he was impossible to ignore. I watched from a distance—until one forbidden night changed everything. It broke my heart, reshaped my soul, and sent me running from the only place I’d ever called home.
Now he’s back. Back in my life, back in my secrets. And the truth he uncovers is one I’ve protected at all costs—one that will change everything for both of us.
Some bonds never break.
Some loves never fade.
And some secrets were never meant to stay buried.

My Takes

This book was well written. The characters are developed, and the plot twists are believable. The only issue I have with this book is at the end. It really could have been a cliff hanger or a longer story. It is like she got to the climax of the story and she was in a little bit of a rush to wrap everything up. I really enjoyed all of it. It was hot and spicy and made me squirm, it was relatable, heart breaking and worth the read!
