Preacher is a villain and just the man that Erin needs. Jack “Preacher” Prior is the President of the local MC. He is a hard man that has left the road of sense. He has dulled his life with drugs and woman only to find a mutiny of the men he calls brothers. They leave him for dead in the badlands and since he is badly wounded he finds himself seeking shelter in a barn.
Erin is a one woman show, doing the best she can to chase her dreams and not be a victim. Though that seems to be all she can be with Jack around. But Erin is also a survivor and offers Jack a place at her ranch until he is ready to move on.
Soon the two find that desire and love bloom in the wilds of South Dakota.
Dahlia West is a wonderful writer of sweet and a little edgy stories. As of writing this review I have read this book 3 times, often at night so the story can help me relax. The audio book is well done and worth the read.
